Students learned about the vessels used in the Mishkan and used replicas that were built to scale. Students learned about the garments of the kohen gadol, by first dressing a paper doll and then labeling the garments in Hebrew. As part of the practical life curriculum, students learn how to wash and dry their dishes and prepared hummus by crushing chickpeas with a mortar and pestle. They added lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste and then spread their hummus on a rice cake to enjoy a delicious snack.
