As a way to focus tefillot on Israel, the Yeshivat Noam Parents Association initiated and organized a huge Challah Bake. Everyone made challah dough together, led by Deena Lewin. Students with their parents recited Tehillim, led by Morah Ilana Rauzman and her daughter, Mia, Class of 2023. Every bowl and set of ingredients had a list of names of chayalim to daven for, thus representing thousands of chayalim. The evening ended with a beautiful kumzitz focused on Israel led by Morah Adina. The love of Eretz Yisrael was palpable as Morah Adina led over 300 people in a moving rendition of “Yama Vakedma” and then as everyone sang “Hatikvah.”
