The students of Yeshivat Noam “traveled” to Israel for the day in celebration of Yom Ha’Atzmaut. Some of the programmatic highlights included: fishing at the beach in Eilat, camel rides in Beer Sheba, planting in the Golan, digging at an archeological site, davening at the Kotel, dancing to Israeli music, frying falafel, eating Israeli food, experiencing an Israel army boot camp training, dining at an Israeli cafe, designing Israeli artwork, presenting in Hebrew and participating in an Israel themed game show. After school, hundreds of families attended the family celebration organized and sponsored by the Yeshivat Noam Parents Association. The fifth grade girls performed daglanut and the fourth and fifth grade choir sang beautifully. The event culminated with dancing and fun with the Yeshivat Noam bnot sherut Natalie, Ori, Avital and Liat.
