Stephanie Beneson, MS Director of Support Services
Yeshivat Noam is excited to announce that Stephanie Beneson has been hired as the middle school director of Support Services.
Mrs. Beneson was previously a Yeshivat Noam middle school support teacher, teaching small support groups in English and Math for the past three years. In addition, Mrs. Beneson has been part of the middle school admissions team, testing students applying to Yeshivat Noam. Prior to joining Yeshivat Noam, Mrs. Beneson served as a special education teacher at Yeshiva Ktana in Passaic from 2008-2021 and as a teacher in the Stephen Gaynor School from 2006-2007. Mrs. Beneson is trained in Orton Gillingham and holds a master’s degree in general and special education from Bank Street College of Education.
Mrs. Beneson is a dedicated special education professional, focused on building students’ strengths and confidence. She is skilled at addressing each student’s needs and creating engaging lessons to target specific strengths. She excels at identifying students’ learning styles and adapting materials to meet their needs. Mrs. Beneson fosters a supportive learning environment to help students with social, emotional and academic growth. She is committed to collaboration between parents and teachers to implement personalized instruction and assistance to students to ensure academic success. Mrs. Beneson is beloved by her students and the entire faculty.
Sarah Eshed, Director, Nitzanei Noam
Yeshivat Noam is thrilled to welcome our new Director of Nitzanei Noam Sarah Eshed! With over six years of experience in early childhood education as a Morah at Shalom Yeladim, Morah Sarah has dedicated her career to fostering a love for learning in her students and creating fun, engaging and nurturing environments where children can flourish. Morah Sarah shared “I’m honored to have the opportunity to lead this incredible program and build upon the strong foundation already in place. My family and I are proud to be part of the Teaneck community, where I live with my husband and our three wonderful children.” Morah Sarah is excited to work closely with the dedicated morahs and parents, ensuring that Nitzanei Noam continues to be a place where every child feels loved, supported and inspired to grow.
