The Yeshivat Noam eighth graders presented their Yom HaShoah Living Museum last week. The students spent months preparing for the event to honor the survivors of the Shoah. With the help of Rebecca Lopkin of Envision Theater and under the leadership of middle school social studies teacher Rabbi Jeremy Hellman, each student presented the life of a Holocaust survivor through art and creative writing as they documented the stories of survival. Additionally, the students rehearsed and presented a play re-enacting some of the struggles the Jewish people faced during the Holocaust.
