(Courtesy of Yeshivat Noam) The Yeshivat Noam Annual Dinner hosted a packed house with over 700 guests to celebrate the school and raise essential funds for Jewish education. The event opened with welcoming remarks by president of the board of trustees Shai Gerson. Then in comedic form, past president Binyamin Rieder grabbed hold of the microphone stating that it would be awkward for the standing president to give accolades to himself since he was one of the guests of honor!
The dinner continued with a video inspired by the theme, אני שייך לעם – I Belong to a Nation, which highlighted Yeshivat Noam’s deep sense of connection to each other, to the school, and to Am Yisrael, written by Shira Forman and Dina Gielchinsky.

Rabbi Chaim Hagler, head of school, shared his remarks and emphasized his appreciation to the faculty and staff. Next, there was a beautiful tribute to each of the honorees: co-guests of honor Tova and Shai Gerson and Yael and Donny Herman, and faculty recognition awardees Danielle Leitman and Jenny Pavel. One of the highlights of the night was the comedy video “Honoree GPT” written by Tova Gerson, Yael Herman, Rabbi Hagler and Ari Wartelsky and produced by Yeshivat Noam parent Matt Engler.
The event details and beautiful ambiance were a credit to dinner co-chairs Lani Hans, Sara Ehrenreich, Shlomit Korman and Hannah Feder. Lisa Mandelbaum, dinner chair emeritus, helped with many dinner logistics. Some of the amazing vendors who made the event special included Petaks Catering, Eli Weintraub Studios Photography, Triple S. Studios, MW Event Lighting, Miro Printing, Teaneck Flowers and Lauren Frohlinger Graphic Design.
