The Yeshivat Noam math department taught the pleasure to measure on Pi Day, 3.14! The fifth graders measured many sized circles and enjoyed eating pies.
The sixth graders graphed the digits of pi and used watercolors to create a “pi in the sky” painting. The seventh grade students found pi by measuring circular objects with string and calculating the diameter, radius and circumference. The eighth graders enjoyed a “pi” of pizza while solving pi related math challenges.
