Yeshivat Noam Eighth Grade Social Scientists Examine the French Revolution

In Rabbi Jeremy Hellman’s social studies class, the eighth graders examined and identified three main causes of the French Revolution: The social inequality of France, the economic state of France and the spread of the Enlightenment. Students explored primary source documents from the time period to fully appreciate what took place. To help demonstrate the three causes, students created puzzles to express the three part nature of the causes of the French Revolution.
