Mrs. Blum’s eighth grade classes read the science fiction story “The Fun They Had” by Isaac Asimov. After doing a close reading of the text, students compared school in four different time periods: 2157, 2020, Zoom school and the time period learned by the characters. Students enjoyed writing on Post-its and then coming up one at a time to the board to put them up.
