Lisa & Chaim Rose participated in the YN Family Adventure in Israel, led by Rabbi Chaim Hagler, with their two sons, Benjamin, grade 2, and Calvin, Kindergarten.
What better place to spend winter break than Israel? I cannot imagine a better way to introduce children to Israel than the Yeshivat Noam Family Adventure! From davening at the Kotel and the tombs of our fathers to ziplining through the Gush — our kids were able to connect the land of Israel to the same place that our forefathers lived. In addition to experiencing history, we learned and discovered how Israelis live life today. The children had the opportunity to learn Torah with Rabbi Hagler and to perform acts of chesed — bringing snacks to soldiers and picking oranges for Israeli families in need. We also had the unique opportunity to celebrate the Bat Mitzvah of Racheli Schachter at the Emunah Bet Elazraki Children’s Home for disadvantaged children in Netanya. Every day was filled with fun, learning, friendship and adventure. Each and every day enhanced our children’s love for Eretz Yisrael as well as our own! We also enjoyed getting to know other YN families and strengthening our relationship with Rabbi Hagler! This was a wonderful opportunity for all of the families and we can’t wait to go back!
