The third annual three-on-three basketball tournament at Yeshivat Noam was a ton of fun for the players and all their families who came to cheer them on. According to event chair Noah Wasserman, “The players had a great time playing ball at the tournament. It was a mix of alumni, parents and extended family members joining together for a fun and competitive night. It was also special to see many fathers playing with their sons.” Some of the father/son teams included Yale Baron and his sons, Joe (‘15) and Ezra (‘17), Saul Stepner and his sons Jack (‘14) and Avery (‘17), Jeff Pavel and his son, Eli (‘17) and Shimeon Weiss with his sons Sammy Weiss (‘14) and Jeremy (‘17).

The format was a 14 team double elimination. In the championship game, the runners up were the 2017 champions, Shai Kaminetzky, Ari Kaminetzky (‘16) and Shalom Rosenbaum and the 2018 champions were Isaac Mirwis, Yehuda Mirwis (‘16) and Dan Poleyoff.
