Yeshivat Noam places a priority on opportunities for relationship building outside the four walls of the classroom. In order to fulfill this priority, students have a multitude of programs to bond with their classmates and teachers in informal settings. This week the fifth graders enjoyed their “Fifth Grade Motzei Shabbaton.” The programming kicked off with a special pre-Shabbat ruach tisch with Rabbi Yossi Dietz from the middle school. The tisch included delicious hot potato kugel to start feeling the warmth and smell of Shabbat. The students wrote Shabbat O’Grams and Divrei Torah together. On Motzei Shabbat, the entire grade gathered together for Minute to Win In, Inflatables, Lazer Tag and sports activities and of course to share their divrei torah. An awesome time was shared by all.
