March Madness took on a whole new meaning this past month at Yeshivat Noam. In connection with National Reading Month, Yeshivat Noam added some meaningful competition as classes were assigned teachers’ favorite picture books to read aloud. Each week, books were read to every class and the students voted on their favorite choices. The students were excited to find out which books moved on to the next round. As the competition got more intense, there was so much buzz about the finalists in the hallways and at home. At oneg, there was a huge roar and applause as “The Book with No Pictures,” by BJ Novak won the final round!
