The Yeshivat Noam fifth graders completed their “Curious George” unit with a poster presentation, which illustrated the harrowing escape H.A. and Margaret Rey experienced as they fled France during WWII as German-born Jews with very few belongings, one of them being the manuscript for “Curious George.” The students used their posters as a timeline to teach fourth graders about the Reys’ journey and all the obstacles they faced as they fled Europe.
