Yeshivat Noam: Measuring Noah’s Ark on Century Road

The students learned in Chumash about the measurements of the Teyva, Noah’s ark. Each child was given an “ama ruler” and he measured items around the classroom. Then they took their ama ruler and joined all the 2nd graders outside on Century Road. The students measured 300 ama—the length of the Teyva—and they were very excited to see that it was basically the whole gate from each end of the parking lot. The students were amazed to see how long the Teyva really was!
