In honor of Rosh Chodesh Nissan, Yeshivat Noam middle school students had a full day yom iyun about Rosh Chodesh and the moon. They learned the Mishnayot about the phases of the moon, experienced a planetarium, played a virtual Escape the Moon, created moon pies and transmitted messages like they did in the times of the Mishna when it was Rosh Chodesh. The students were fully engaged in these creative activities throughout the yom iyun all while learning and having fun at the same time.
