Yeshivat Noam is proud to report that the middle schoolers had record breaking participation in the Shamati Learning Program over winter break. Seventy six students made a siyum in celebration of completing learning their mishnayot— masechet Rosh Hashanah or masechet Makkot—depending on whether they are in grade six, seven, or eight. While enjoying their Chickies sandwiches, the students had a Lunch and Learn with Rabbi Yitzchok Motechin, Rabbi Ariel Bannett and Rabbi Elie Kurtz. The Shamati L’Shma Learning Program is sponsored in loving memory of Rabbi Yitzchok Belizon, z”l who loved learning Torah.
