Yeshivat Noam’s Middle School Is Filled With Ruach for Color War

Middle School Color War at Yeshivat Noam was created around the theme of the 50th anniversary of Yerushalayim. The students each had the opportunity to shine as they engaged in projects of all kinds, designed to capture the diversity of their talents and interests. The hallways erupted with energy, creativity and collaboration, as known talents were showcased and new talents emerged. Students chose to choreograph dances, play sports, engineer Rube Goldberg machines, direct video presentations, orchestrate stomp routines, lead cheers, research and deliver divrei Torah, paint banners and so much more. They did all of the above while working with peers from all grade levels, finding ways to strengthen their teammates and include everyone. The ruach and middot displayed consistently were most impressive. Special kol hakavod to the student leaders, the teachers and especially to the color war committee, Leora Sulimanoff, Ricki Kurtz and Rabbi Ariel Bannett. Their dedication and planning made the event the success that it was. Thank you also to Stefanie Diamond for dedicating her time to capture some of the magic with her beautiful photography.
