Yeshivat Noam Studies Brachot

Throughout the month of February, Yeshivat Noam students were immersed in learning about hilchot brachot, both in their classrooms and at home. This past week, the students culminated their learning with interactive programs that brought their hilchot brachot learning to life. The second grade students created and led a Bracha Carnival. Each activity from bowling to sorting to skee ball was all related to brachot. The first graders were invited to participate in these fun brachot activities. There was so much joy and excitement as the first and second graders celebrated their learning together.

The third through fifth graders added some competition to their learning. Students participated in online quizzes and appointed class representatives to compete in the YN Bracha Bee.

The audience cheered with excitement as their classmates competed. Students were given food and were challenged to look at food labels to determine the correct bracha rishona and/or achrona for each food presented. If the student representative answered with the correct brachot, their class could have a chance to spin a wheel and earn a treat for their class. There were also audience bracha challenges to enhance the fun and participation of all the students. The winners of the school Bracha Bee will move on to the Interschool Bracha Bee on March 13 at SAR. We are so proud of the growth and learning of brachot displayed through these interactive, creative activities.
