Yeshivat Noam hosted a fun-filled summer outing this week with 120 golfers playing on the beautiful course at Edgewood Country Club. The outing, chaired by returning parent volunteers Noam Insler, Shlomo Hagler and Akiva Romanoff, was a memorable day of golf, socializing, eating and enjoyment.
The guests all raved about the golf brushes sponsored by The Rothenberg Law Firm-Injurylawyer.com, hoodies sponsored by RLK Interiors, golf T-shirts by TD Bank, Travis Mathew hats sponsored by Solomon Financial Group, LLC, Under Armor Coolers with the event logo and Golf Balls sponsored by Genie Energy.
Womens’ activities included an exercise class with Yeshivat Noam (YN) parent Carrie Eckstein, and a candle-decorating workshop with event co-chairs, YN parents Debbie Singfer and Golda Erdfarb. Women had fun exercising, crafting, socializing, lunching on the course and some even played mahjong.
Throughout the day the participants enjoyed delicious meals, including omelets for breakfast, a barbecue for lunch and sushi for dinner by Madison Caterers. The First Place team included Marc Goldberg, Neil Bromberg, Howie Bromberg and Brian Kardon. The winner of the Putting Green Contest, for the third consecutive year, was Dr. Moshe Wertenteil. The Longest Drive winner at each of the par 5s were: Jake Rothenberg, class of 2016, and a friend of Yeshivat Noam, Martin Shkreli. The Closest to the Pin winners at each of the Par 3s were Akiva Romanoff, Steven Seltzer, Isaac Goldin, Yitzi Robinzon and Joshua Simon. Congratulations to all the contest winners!
