After reading “When the Hurricane Came,” a book that takes place in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, Yeshivat Shalshelet students had the opportunity to Zoom with Rabbi Uri Topolosky, formerly a rabbi of Beth Israel of New Orleans, to ask questions about his experience in helping his community after Hurricane Katrina.
