As the academic year draws to a close, the halls of Yeshivat Shalshelet were filled with excitement and pride as students in grades 2 through 7 showcased their knowledge and creativity through a series of end-of-year fairs. Each class presented projects that reflected the culmination of their yearlong studies, impressing parents, peers and staff alike.
The Gefen class brought Israel to life with an immersive Israel Fair, highlighting the geography, culture and history of the Jewish homeland. Students created interactive displays and shared facts that revealed their deep connection to Eretz Yisrael.
The Rimon and Dagan classes journeyed across America in their engaging State Fair. From Massachusetts to Hawaii, students researched and presented key facts, foods and landmarks of their chosen states, turning the classroom into a vibrant celebration of the United States.
The Zayit class took a scientific approach with a Science Fair focused on memory and learning. Their experiments explored how the brain works, and what improves or impacts memory.
Meanwhile, the Dekel class delved into the world of finance with a Stock Analysis Fair, presenting in-depth research on publicly traded companies. Students analyzed their selected stock, earnings reports and company histories, offering thoughtful reflections on market behavior and their investment.
Each fair was a testament to the students’ hard work and the rich, interdisciplinary curriculum at Yeshivat Shalshelet. In collaboration with writing and content area teachers the students put their skills and creativity on full display. Kol hakavod to the students and teachers for an inspiring end to a wonderful school year!
