Yom Ha’Atzmaut began with the children davening together, and they were thrilled at the chance to say Hallel in honor of Eretz Yisrael. They then used their passports to travel all over Eretz Yisrael (between our city-decorated classrooms). The children had the opportunity to create boats in Haifa, mosaic doves in Tzfat, and played in mud from Yam HaMelach. After their grand tour of Eretz Yisrael, the students took their celebrations outside for a concert, rikudim, and a fantastic daglanut performance by the third graders. Yom huledet sameach, Eretz Yisrael!
