“In the second month (Cheshvan), on the seventeenth day of the month, on this day, all the springs of the great deep were split…and the windows of the heaven opened up.”

This week, Ma’ayanot celebrated “Yom Ma’ayanot” and learned about the powerful force of the “ma’ayanot,” fountains of water, that were able to have a changing effect on the world. The students enjoyed watching Ma’ayanot’s new featured video, followed by a reflective activity which embraced the school’s motto of “Be, Become, Belong.” The program concluded with music, dancing and a special delicious treat of blue and purple (Ma’ayanot’s colors) donuts.
