Young Israel of Teaneck to Host Slovie Jungreis-Wolff on Effective Parenting

With the omnipresence of mobile devices, school bullying and peer pressure, today it’s harder than ever to raise children. To that end, Young Israel of Teaneck will host parenting instructor Sunday, September 17, at 7:30 p.m. She will address the community on, “Raising a Child With Soul: How to Raise Children With an Attitude of Gratitude and Compassion in a Selfie World.” This event is free and open to the entire community.

Slovie Jungreis-Wolff is the daughter of Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis and continues her mother’s legacy of rekindling the spark within every soul. She is the leader of Hineni Couples and has taught about life, relationships and marriage for more than 25 years. She gives weekly classes on the East and West Sides of Manhattan, Long Island, Brooklyn and Westchester.

“I am looking forward to greeting the Teaneck community,” Jungreis-Wolff told The Jewish Link. “Especially now, during Elul, we must find the time to think about and contemplate the teachings we wish to impart to the next generation. Both parents and grandparents have a legacy to live. Parenting is one of the greatest missions; it is up to us to lead, to guide and to inspire.”

Jungreis-Wolff’s parenting handbook is published by St. Martin’s Press. She has given workshops and lectured extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Panama, South Africa and Israel. The event is sponsored by Sivan & Neil Greenspan in commemoration of the yahrzeits of Sivan’s parents, Asher Ze’ev & Pnina Leah Rabinowitz, z”l. The Young Israel of Teaneck is located at 868 Perrry Lane in Teaneck. For more information email [email protected].
