The YU Maccabees soccer team posted their 2015 highlights video on YouTube this past week. The footage has great action and some incredible goals. The team set new records this year going 5-3-2 in conference play and clinched a spot in the Skyline Quarterfinals. Junior forward Itamar Ben David was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Year, while senior midfielder Daniel Amar and sophomore midfielder Aaron Braun earned spots on the All-Conference Second Team. Itamar and Daniel were both selected as Jewish Sports Review All Americans as well.

Teaneck area residents may be excited to know that their town is the YU soccer team’s home away from home. The team spends almost all of its practices and games at Votee Sportsplex in Teaneck. The YouTube scenes show off the beautiful Votee Sportsplex for the world to see.
