The third grade students at Tenafly Chabad Academy celebrated Read Across America Day with their friends at Family of Caring. Third graders were paired up with residents and they read them the classic Dr. Seuss books in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

Tenafly Chabad Academy has a special relationship with Family of Caring, a health and rehabilitation center for senior citizens that is right across the street from the school. They join TCA for many intergenerational programs throughout the year. Students bond with their friends at Family of Caring and both the students and the residents get so much out of the program.
