The MDY Warriors faced off against the Flatbush Falcons on Wednesday night. The first half was very fast paced and as both teams were scoring in flurries. With the game being close the whole time, the Warriors were propelled by 15 first half points by Phil Sherr to lead 30-27 at the half. The Warriors were able to open up the game in the third quarter using stifling defense that led to easy baskets, leading 54-41 at the end of the third quarter. Josh Chabbott led the Warriors with 14 4th quarter points to help the Warriors pull away. The final score was 78-52 in favor of the Warriors. Josh Chabbott led all scorers with 21 points (7/10 from field, 4/5 from 3), eight rebounds and four assists. Phil Sherr added 17 points, four assists and four rebounds. Alfonse Shiloach and Jack Dweck added 12 and 10 points respectively. The Warriors are now 5-2 in league play and 10-5 overall.
