SAR High School recently hosted Matt Krieger, communications strategist for the “Bring Hersh Home” campaign, to share the story behind the global effort to advocate for Hersh Goldberg-Polin, taken hostage by Hamas on October 7, 2023. Krieger detailed the whirlwind process of connecting journalists with families impacted by the tragedy, the Goldberg-Polins’ emotional journey of speaking at global forums, and the impactful role of storytelling in generating international awareness. He emphasized the importance of decisive action and hope, inspiring SAR students to see the power of resilience and advocacy in times of profound challenge.
