Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy Kindergarten Celebrates ‘Hibernation Day’

It was truly special to celebrate Hibernation Day with the kindergarteners at Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy. They started the day with a grand pajama showcase, where the students paraded their favorite sleepwear! The students then had a big PJ dance party with special guests: stuffed animals. For snack, the students had hot cocoa with marshmallows and animal cookies.

Next, there was a big bear hunt through the early childhood wing of the school, which ended at a life size bear cave. The children loved playing inside of it, pretending to be hibernating bears. The whole day was filled with hibernation-themed games, art projects, songs, stories, science explorations and more.

The children learned about animals that hibernate and what hibernation means in nature, read books about bears and hibernating, had a special snack and of course, cuddled and snuggled with their stuffed animal friends.
