WTA Kindergarteners Bring Color Week to Life

WTA’s Kindergarten students had a blast celebrating Color Week, a fun and creative exploration of colors that connected to their classroom learning in meaningful ways. Each day of the week focused on a different color, with exciting activities designed to engage the children’s imaginations and enhance their understanding of the world around them.

On Yellow Day, the students read the classic Israeli book Tiras Cham (“Hot Corn”) and practiced writing the Hebrew letter tzadik for the word tzahov (yellow). Green Day brought the story of the plague of frogs from the week’s parsha, as the students dressed in green and played a leapfrog game. Pink Day highlighted the beautiful rakefet flower, which blooms in Israel, and the children had a great time making their own rakefet creations. The week wrapped up with Colorful Day, where everyone came dressed in vibrant rainbow outfits, celebrating the colorful spirit of the week. Throughout the week, the children thrived, learning their colors in ways that connected to their ongoing studies and sparked their creativity. It was a week full of fun, learning and color.
