I found the article on Rabbi Schrier’s installation to be a very enjoyable read (“A New Era Begins for Bnai Yeshurun, Teaneck’s Founding Orthodox Synagogue” November 11, 2021), but it had several historical inaccuracies. President Berman’s investiture as rabbi of the Jewish Center was not in 1990, it was in 2000. His immediate predecessor as rabbi of the Jewish Center was not Rabbi Dr. Lamm, z”l, it was Rabbi JJ Schachter, who had moved to Boston at the time. Rabbi Dr. Lamm became president of Yeshiva University in 1976.
