A Season to Keep On Singing!

Teaneck Community Chorus (TCC) announces Teaneck Sings Week, January 17–25, 2015. Teaneck’s winter week of song kicks off with the annual Teaneck Teen Idol Competition. In its eighth year, the contest showcases talented teens from many Teaneck schools as they compete for the Teaneck Teen Idol title! Don’t miss this exciting event Saturday, January 17, 8 p.m., at Teaneck High School. The event will also feature the 2014 Teaneck Teen Idol, Atara Shulhof, from Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School.

TCC is once again honored to be participating in the Bergen County Martin Luther King Jr. celebration on January 19, 6:30 p.m., at SMA Fathers in Tenafly, NJ.

Teaneck Sings Week culminates with a Winter Concert, 3 p.m., Sunday, January 25, at Teaneck High School: “Two Paths to Freedom–A Musical Tribute to Nelson Mandela and Pete Seeger.” These extraordinary leaders inspired both lasting change and timeless music. You’ll also be moved and energized by the poetry of Maya Angelou.

Mark your calendars for January 17, 19, and 25 and hear how the Teaneck Community Chorus unites people of all ages through great music that can bring back memories–and take us to new places.
