Academies at GBDS celebrated Purim all week. The hallways and classrooms were transformed into the Shushan palace! Every day leading to Purim was a different school spirit day. Integration of subjects came to life during the week of Purim. The days were filled with learning, music and hands-on STEM and art activities centered around this fun, favorite holiday. On Friday, the students and teachers enjoyed a COVID-safe Megilla reading and Purim celebration, and ended the day with a joyful kabbalat Shabbat. Everyone went home with delicious hamantaschen and mishloach manot.
