Pre-k students just completed their 26 weeks of integrated learning of the alphabet! Each week, as a new letter was introduced, the classroom was transformed into a themed learning environment, focusing on the sound and the words of the week. During their celebration of the alphabet, the children reflected on their favorite themed weeks that included blowing bubbles; making and eating pancakes in pajamas; flying kites; receiving mail and baking muffins; erupting a volcano and eating watermelon.
