Adam Dobrick Joins Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School as Director of Studies

Dr. Adam Dobrick has joined The Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School as Director of Studies. In this newly created position, Dr. Dobrick will focus his energies on curricular and staff development, creating benchmarks for learning, scope and sequence; class placement and curricular integration, among other academic responsibilities.

Dr. Dobrick graduated from Brandeis University, where he studied history, philosophy and education. After college, he studied at Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem. He was a founding faculty member and later assistant principal of Yeshiva High School in Boca Raton, and spent over a decade developing the school from its inception to the thriving institution it is today. While in Florida, Dr. Dobrick earned a master’s degree in education, focusing on curriculum and instruction, from Florida Atlantic University. He continued his studies in New Jersey and recently completed his doctorate in education and administration from Yeshiva University’s Azrieli Graduate School of Education. Dr. Dobrick held leadership positions in local yeshiva high schools, most recently at Yeshiva University High School for Boys.

Dr. Dobrick’s passion for learning has led him to seek and engage in wonderful professional-development opportunities all over the world. He was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities fellowship to study Russian literature and culture in Minnesota, and won an English Speaking Union Fellowship to study British literature at Edinburgh University. He spent a summer at Harvard learning about college guidance, and spent several summers in Nebraska as a reader for the AP European History Exam.

RKYHS looks forward to working with Dr. Dobrick to enrich and enhance its educational program.
