Yom Hazikaron brought several impactful Zooms from Israel to the RYNJ classrooms. RYNJ graduate and IDF soldier Yitzi Rothschild spoke live with the students to share his personal story. He described Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha’atzmaut in Israel, and related a few powerful and meaningful experiences he had in the IDF. The students also heard from chayelet Shifra Dimbert, who shared reflections on her last few months in service. Shifra spoke about her experiences on October 7, and memorialized two special friends of hers who lost their lives in defense of Eretz Yisrael and Am Yisrael.
