(Courtesy of Anshei Lubavitch) Capitalizing on the success of its CKids winter camp for Jewish children currently attending public school, this year Anshei Lubavitch introduced winter camp at two new intervals: Presidents Week and during the busy pre-Pesach season.

“Our mission is to deepen the commitment and understanding of Torah for every Jew,” saie Rabbi Levi Neubort, executive director at Anshei Lubavitch. “We want to maximize every opportunity available for Jewish children to learn about their heritage and develop a sense of pride in their Jewish identity. Winter camp is a great avenue for this.”

Although spots sold out almost immediately, CKids Director Rabbi Eli Steinhauser insisted that additional resources be harnessed to allow for even more children to enjoy the experience. CKids go on exciting trips and learn about Jewish holidays and traditions through fun crafts and activities.

Anshei Lubavitch has subsidized this program with the generosity of local supporters and seeks to partner with others who share its vision of imparting a strong Jewish identity to every Jewish child through meaningfully enjoyable exposure to Judaism.
