(Courtesy of AMIT) Enjoy a fun and festive evening in a casino-like setting while helping to support AMIT’s 34,000 Israeli children with a cutting-edge, Jewish-values-based education on Saturday, December 23, at the home of Annie and Yale Baron in Teaneck.
The event, organized by the AMIT Hindy Weinstock/Geula Chapter of Greater Teaneck, features a sumptuous meat buffet and casino games like black jack, poker and roulette. There will be drawings for some terrific swag items and many other great prizes.
The event is co-chaired by Abby and Elad Cnaan, Rachel and Shawn Langer, Chana and Dan Shields and Meital and Howie Teitelman. “It’s going to be a really fun evening filled with great games and food while at the same time supporting the important work of AMIT,” said Meital Teitelman.
“AMIT holds a special place in our hearts, not just because our family has been involved in the organization for generations, but because when our daughter Sarina attended an AMIT school in Israel, we got to see firsthand what catering to the needs of each child really means,” shared Chana Shields. “If AMIT had such a strong impact on our child, the impact it has on the 70 percent of the students who live in the periphery is truly immeasurable.”
