This week the seventh grade was privileged to have a Zoom meeting with Sharon Draper, author of “Out of My Mind.” The seventh grade read “Out of My Mind” as their first class novel of the year. Draper was fun, funny and informative and the students were enchanted! A number of them prepared thought provoking questions, and the author was charmed by the group. What a great opportunity to connect!
