Get ready for your Purim seudah with these dreamy and glamourous pink hamantashen!
Directions:
- Refrigerate your favorite hamantashen dough overnight.
- Knead one small container (.5 oz. of pink gel food coloring into your hamantashen dough, until the color is evenly distributed (wearing gloves is recommended).
- Place your hamantashen dough onto wax paper and cover the dough with an additional piece of wax paper.
- Using a rolling pin on top of the wax paper; roll out the hamantashen dough to your desired thickness.
- Use a glass or other round item to cut circles out of the dough.
- In a separate bowl, mix your filling:
- pink sprinkles
- white or metallic sprinkles
- jelly of your choice
- Add one small spoonful of filling to each circle.
- Shape your hamantashen into triangles, gently sealing the edges of the corners (with a little bit of water, if necessary).
- Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 and enjoy!
