As a bat mitzvah chesed project, Abigail Braunstein, a student at Ben Porsat Yosef, ran a successful bake sale and chose Project Yechi as the recipient of the proceeds. She raised close to $3,000 on behalf of the organization. Because of her one act of chesed, Project Yechi was able to assist multiple cancer patients on their road to recovery. It allowed those patients to relax a bit and not worry about how their rent or mortgage was going to be paid.
