Stamford’s Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy of Connecticut Upper School students Sadie Palker and Gabriel Haron, Menachem Begin Scholars, attended the second annual National Student Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.

The two-day conference that was hosted by the Tikvah Fund was focused on antisemitism after the devastating events of October 7, 2023. Along with attending seminars, Sadie and Gabriel also watched a documentary about Menachem Begin, went on an excursion to Mount Vernon, attended a dinner banquet at which Rabbi Dr. Meir Y. Solveichik was speaking and participated in many other activities.

It was also a great opportunity for them to meet other Jewish high school students from around the country and to form friendships with them.
