Ben Porat Yosef was thrilled to march 250 strong at the Celebrate Israel Parade this past Sunday. The school chose to highlight the theme of “One People, One Heart on 5th Ave” by recognizing all of the organizations and volunteers across the world that have played tremendous roles in the unity of the Jewish people always, and especially since October 7. BPY used the organization’s logos to spell out the words “B’Yachad Nenatzeach” on their parade tee shirts. Marchers felt with their one heart the tremendous absence of those not with us by wearing yellow shirts that were lovingly sponsored by the Hillelson family in memory of their mother and grandmother Elana Sasto z”l.
