Ben Porat Yosef Welcomes Two New Administrators

Ben Porat Yosef (BPY) is delighted to announce and welcome Gabrielle Altman as director of development and marketing. Altman joins BPY with over 15 years of experience in development, marketing, public relations, grant writing, higher education and non-profit administration at organizations such as Yeshiva University, NYU-Langone Medical Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weizmann Institute of Science. Altman has raised millions of dollars for philanthropic organizations. “I am thrilled to bring my experience, enthusiasm and ideas to BPY as we celebrate our 18th year, a true milestone for our groundbreaking yeshiva. BPY continues to set standards in innovative yeshiva education and it is a privilege to be a part of the BPY family.”

Joining Gabrielle on the leadership team is Sharona Grossberg, newly appointed director of admissions and public relations. Grossberg holds an M.Ed in guidance and counseling. Grossberg has nearly 20 years of professional and volunteer experience in Jewish and educational organizations having worked in admissions, college guidance, public relations, teaching, student affairs and alumni engagement. “I am struck by the warmth, energy and creativity that I experience here each day,” Grosserg said.

Rabbi Saul Zucker, Ben Porat Yosef head of school commented, “I am so happy to be working with Gabrielle and Sharona. They bring a level of professionalism and experience to BPY that will enhance our work with the broader community in fantastic ways and in new dimensions. We are so fortunate to have them as part of the amazing BPY family!”
