Rabbi Yitzchak Neriya to Discuss Torah Education at Beth Aaron

On Saturday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m., Rabbi Yitzchak Neriya will speak at Congregation Beth Aaron, on “Raising the Bar in Torah Education.”

Rabbi Yitzchak Neriya is a Torah scholar and a gifted educator. He is head of Yeshivat Torah Betzion in Jerusalem, as well as founder of Echad l’Echad, a nonprofit chesed organization in Israel. Echad l’Echad is a main address and an attentive ear for the Religious Zionist community, assisting families in need throughout Israel, as well as supporting and strengthening the Religious Zionist world of Torah. In the past, Rabbi Neriya has held positions as Rosh Kollel of Torah Mitzion in Montreal, Canada, and was the Rosh Yeshiva of the Or Etzion high school in Mercaz Shapira, Israel. He also has served as the community rabbi of Netzer Hazani, one of the former Gush Katif communities.

Congregation Beth Aaron is located at 950 Queen Anne Road, Teaneck.

Kesher to Honor Two Outstanding Members

Kehilat Kesher, the Community Synagogue of Englewood and Tenafly, will be honoring Michael Erber and Natie Fox at the shul’s upcoming dinner on Thursday, June 23. Michael Erber and Natie Fox have both been integral parts of the shul’s spiritual and physical growth. Michael has been instrumental in the growth and development of the tefillah at Kesher. He has served in key roles on Kesher’s Board, Religious Affairs Committee, Rabbinic Liaison Committee and continues to serve as Gabbai. Natie has served as President of the shul and also led the Strategic Growth Committee and Building Committee throughout the construction phase of Kesher’s new building. Teaneck-Hackensack Hadassah to Meet on June 20

The Teaneck-Hackensack Hadassah will meet on Monday, June 20, at 1 p.m., at Congregation Beth Shalom, 354 Maitland Avenue, Teaneck, NJ.

Andrew Gross, Director of Political Affairs at the Consulate of Israel will be the guest speaker and his subject will be the politics of Israel. There will be an opportunity for questions at the end of his talk.
