Last Friday on Rosh Chodesh Kislev, BPY’s fifth and eighth graders celebrated mishmar together. They started the day with a special tefillah and Hallel in the beit midrash and continued to a delicious breakfast where both were able to enjoy each other’s company. After breakfast, the students divided into groups and enjoyed chavruta learning focused on the meaning of Shabbat. After learning, they played an inspiring game about what they learned. It was really gratifying and inspiring to see how the eighth grade students showed maturity and responsibility towards the fifth graders, and it was a joy to see how the students collaborated and interacted with each other. BPY looks forward to many more opportunities to bond and make memories together!
