BPY early childhood students were treated to an amazing Shofar Factory workshop courtesy of Chabad’s Living Legacy program. Students got to learn how a shofar is made, understand its significance and even got to take a crack at blowing their own shofar. (It’s not so easy, they learned!) BPY is confident that the adorable students are ready to welcome Rosh Hashanah with a deeper understanding of the shofar’s importance in commemorating the creation of the world— to remind us of Har Sinai and the day we accepted the Torah and mitzvot, and to remind us to ask friends and family for forgiveness for anything we might have done wrong to them this past year.
