After the BPY kindergarteners learned how Avraham and Sarah left their home, Gan Keshet spent the school year exploring the wonderful world Hashem gave them. They traveled all over exploring England, Italy, Brazil, Israel and now … Morocco! Wow, the sights, smells and tastes of Morocco are so unique. They enjoyed seeing traditional Moroccan clothing (caftan, fez and takshita) and hearing about a Henna ceremony. They danced to the music, feasted on Mouflata and mint tea and enjoyed couscous with Moroccan vegetable soup. They even went to a spice souk. Morocco also has mountains, the Sahara desert and a beautiful coastline by both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
