Bris Avrohom Celebrates Passover 2022 in Jersey City

(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Steven Fulop, mayor of Jersey City, performed the ceremony of the chametz sale belonging to him and the city of Jersey City through Bris Avrohom. Fulop presented a proclamation to Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky, executive director of Bris Avrohom, and to Rabbi Baruch Lepkivker, program director and rabbi of Bris Avrohom of Jersey City, declaring 120 days of education in honor the 120th birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe which was celebrated on the 11th day of Nissan 5782. In turn, the rabbis presented the mayor with traditional handmade shmurah matzah.

Under the auspices of Rabbi Baruch Lepkivker, hundreds of boxes of matzos were distributed in Jersey City to people in senior homes, businesses, and correctional facilities.
